Matthew Scott, Owner/Pet Sitting Expert:
My name is Matthew and I am the owner/operator of Creature Comforts Pet Sitting of Seattle. I am a former resident of Seattle from 2005-2009, when I was laid off in the Finance world because of the economic downturn. I then relocated to Charlotte, NC in order to secure a finance job in one of the biggest financial centers in the US. After having some interviews, I then attended a pet fair and saw some pet sitting company booths. Having always wanted to work with animals, I started doing the necessary research on how to form a pet sitting company. I had hired pet sitters in Seattle before, but they never did what I paid them to do, including basic services. On August 1, 2010, Creature Comforts of Charlotte Pet Sitting was born!
However, I always missed Seattle and the Pacific Northwest, so in late 2013, I listed Creature Comforts of Charlotte for sale. Early in 2014 the company sold, and here I am back in Seattle, now the owner of Creature Comforts Pet Sitting of Seattle! We are fully bonded, insured, and First Aid/CPR certified. My background consists of owning Creature Comforts of Charlotte for 3.5 years, volunteering at the local Humane Societies, and in college I was the Vice President of People For Animal Welfare. I am also the very proud parent of my nine year old cat Lucy!
